Our Mission
Our goal is to help you make more educated decisions when it comes to the U.S. economy and real estate. Whether you’re new to investing in the financial markets, purchasing your first home, buying investment properties, or just want to know the financial health of the U.S. economy. We intentionally set up this website so visitors can spend less than 5 minutes on our site and know the health of the U.S. economy, health of the housing market, and be up to date on the major headlines of the day. Our gauges on the health of the economy and housing are updated once per month after critical data for the prior month is reported. About the Founder
The Founder of ActionableCharts, Brian Ziarnick, saw a need for there to be an easy to navigate website for people to quickly understand the health of the U.S. economy and housing market. Mr. Ziarnick was uniquely qualified to take on this task being that he has over 15 years of experience in both the mortgage industry and stock/bond portfolio management. Mr. Ziarnick spent the first 8 years of his career in the mortgage industry during the real estate boom of the 2000’s all the way to the housing market crash of 2008. Mr. Ziarnick saw first hand how artificially low interest rates induced by the Federal Reserve, poor underwriting standards by mortgage companies, and major rating agencies failing to properly estimate the risks of mortgage backed securities helped push the housing market over the edge of the cliff. Mr. Ziarnick also has over 10 years of experience managing stock/bond portfolios and trading derivative contracts such as futures and options. He holds a current investment advisers license and is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Texas.
